Resignations of Akali leaders, part of party strategy or leaders looking for a new path!

  After the resignation of Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal, the party leaders have started resigning. One by one, Akali leaders are sending their resignations to the party's working president Balwinder Singh Bhunder. Is the flurry of resignations by Akali leaders part of the party's strategy, or is it pressure politics or is it really the leaders who are doing this to find another way out due to the political turmoil of the party. After the party's treasurer and Hindu leader NK Sharma, former minister Anil Joshi has also resigned from the primary membership of the Akali Dal today. Harpreet Sandhu, a three-time MLA of the party, has also resigned. Apart from this, other leaders have also threatened the leaders of the working committee to resign. On the other hand, Akali Dal 1920 President and former Speaker Ravinder Singh says that Sukhbir Singh Badal, who was declared a salaryman, and many Akali leaders in his support are taking a direct stand against Akal Takht Sahib. He said that the Badal group has never been dedicated to Sikhism. Sikhism is currently at a critical juncture when the Badal Dal is creating a serious threat to its principles. He said that in the current situation, instead of unprincipled, family-oriented and straight-laced fakirs who are taking a stand against Akal Takht Sahib, missionary leadership should lead Sikh institutions so that Sikh opponents can be pushed to the margins. Ravinder Singh said that the damage they (Badal and supporters) have caused to the Sikh Panth by bowing their heads to Akal Takht Sahib today is unbearable and in no way forgivable.
