NATO member country Finland also shares more than 1340 km of border with Russia. The government here has launched a new website to help citizens in war situations. An online message has been issued by the Finnish government.

People have been asked to keep a stock of food items that consume less energy or can be eaten without cooking. It is worth noting that Finland joined NATO in 2023.

Sweden, NATO's newest member country, does not share any border with Russia. Despite this, Sweden has issued a booklet called ‘In Case of Crisis of War’ which provides guidelines for citizens in a war situation.

It states that 72 hours of food, drinking water and essential medicines should be stored to deal with emergencies during war. Not only this, the guidelines suggest that people should stockpile potatoes, cabbage, carrots and eggs.

NATO and EU countries angry with Biden’s decision
