Petrol price hike: Prime Minister should stop distributing 'toffees' and focus on the country's economy: Harpal Cheema

Petrol price hike: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has surrounded the central government over the continuous rise in oil prices in the country. In this regard, Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema while addressing the media in Chandigarh said, “Enough of the inflation, now stop it Modi Sahib.” He called the BJP a party against farmers, common people, traders and small businessmen and alleged that the Prime Minister is completely indifferent to the problems faced by the common people due to the rising oil prices.

It is worth mentioning that the prices of petrol and diesel have been increased from Rs 2.61 to Rs 2.71 per liter, which is the fourth increase in the last two weeks. Oil marketing companies, unable to bear the burden of rising oil prices at the international level, are continuously passing this burden on to the consumers.
