Protest against the removal of shackles of Sikh examinees

  Opposing the harassment of Sikh examinees in the Central Teacher Eligibility Examination, Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Advocate Harjinder Singh Dhami has directed an investigation into it. He said that this is an expression of anti-Sikh mentality, which cannot be accepted.

Yesterday, the case of Sikh examinees being tied up in the examination center built in Delhi Public School at Bhokra village of Bathinda for teacher qualification examination came to light. Advocate Dhami said that Punjab is a majority Sikh region, where everyone knows that Kada is an integral part of Sikhs, but despite this, the move of Sikh examinees to remove Kada is unfortunate.

He said that it is the subject of investigation as to whose conspiracy such movements are in Punjab, the land of Gurus. He said that if the government is approving it, what could be more painful than this.
