Big announcement from the Canadian federal government for businesses affected by tariffs, announcement of special package as well as relaxation in employment insurance rules

Toronto - The Canadian federal government has announced a special economic package to provide relief to businesses in its country affected by the trade war with neighboring America. This special program was jointly announced today by Canada's federal Minister of Labour Steven McKinnon, and Mary N. G. Ritchie-Waldz, Minister of International Trade and Small Business. Out of the total $6.5 billion released in this financial program, $5 billion has been set aside to encourage exporters to explore markets and business opportunities in countries other than the United States. It is worth noting that due to the impact on trade relations with the United States, the Canadian government and Canadians are now beginning to realize that the country's trade should be open to different countries around the world besides the United States.

In addition, to encourage businesses affected by the tariff war launched by the neighboring country, the federal government has launched a $5 billion loan program under which loans will be provided to businesses through the Business Development Bank. The relevant minister says that the rules and regulations of this program will be issued in the coming days.
