Protects skin from getting sick from air pollution 'Black Diamond', read where it came from; What are its benefits?

New Delhi: Bamboo charcoal known as Black Diamond is effective in preventing skin diseases caused by air pollution. This claim has been made in a study published in the International Conference of Multidisciplinary Research and Practice General. According to research, bamboo charcoal does not allow the toxic elements present in the air to stay on the face due to air pollution. Also, its coating protects the skin in hot weather. According to published research, charcoal made from bamboo naturally contains many minerals like calcium magnesium, acidic acid, hydroxyl benzene etc. Currently, this charcoal is being used to make cream or face wash. To make this charcoal, bamboo is carbonized at high temperature after cutting. When a facewash is formulated with bamboo charcoal, it is more capable of absorbing toxins and harmful substances from the skin. Although charcoal is also made from other woods, it is not easy to obtain due to forest laws. Bamboo charcoal has 4 times more absorption rate and 10 times more surface area compared to regular charcoal.
