'Indian skies are safe, passengers need not fear', BCAS Director General made a big appeal amid threats to bomb planes

  New Delhi: Airlines across the country are receiving bomb threats. More than 30 planes received bomb threats in one day on Saturday. Due to these threats, an atmosphere of panic spread among the passengers. They also face harassment. Meanwhile, Director General of Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS) Zulfiqar Hasan has said a big thing. He said that the threat of fake bomb will be controlled as soon as possible. Security agencies involved in the investigation
An important meeting of airlines companies was held at the BCAS headquarters in Delhi on Saturday. Airlines companies presented their problems to BCAS Director General Zulfkar Hasan. There was a long discussion on the issue of constant threats. Representatives of the companies said that the bomb threat during the festive season could lead to congestion at the airport. BCAS said it is working with security agencies. We will get to the root causes of this shortly.

Passengers upset by threats
Airlines are finding it difficult to operate normally due to constant bomb threats. The representatives also said that the constant threats have put a heavy burden on airlines, security forces and passengers. A large number of airlines have received bomb threats in the past week. Five flights each of Spice Jet and Air Asia have received bomb threats. During investigation, all these threats were found to be fake.

The Center is preparing to amend the law
Meanwhile, due to these threats, the government has also come on alert mode. Ministry of Civil Aviation is in touch with many other Ministries. The necessary amendments in the law are being discussed between these ministries. A committee will be formed in consultation with the Ministry of Law and Home Affairs. The committee will draft amendments to the Aircraft Act-1934 and Aircraft Rules-1937 and other laws. It aims to give a five-year jail term to those who make fake bomb threats and put them on the no-fly list.
