  The world's tallest Ravana effigy will be burnt in Kota, Rajasthan on the occasion of Dussehra this year. After about four months of hard work, Ambala craftsman Tajinder Chauhan has prepared a 221-foot tall Ravana, which weighs 13,500 kg. The cost of making the world's tallest Ravana has been about Rs 44 lakh. According to information, so far the record for burning a 210-foot tall Ravana near Delhi is 210 feet. The Ravana effigy was brought to the Dussehra ground in Kota on Monday night. Dussehra Mela Committee President Vivek Rajvanshi said that Kota's name will be recorded in the Asia Book of World Records and India Book of World Records with the effigy. Four different teams have reached Kota from Delhi, including representatives of Asia Records and India Book. They have measured the height of Ravana's effigy and also seen other facts. He said that the effigy has been erected in the Dussehra ground with the help of two cranes. Police personnel have also been deployed for security. The artisan who made the effigy, Tajinder Chauhan, said that its face is 25 feet and is made of fiber glass. There is a 58-foot crown on Ravana's head in which colorful lights have been installed. In this, the sword is 50 feet long and the shoes are 40 feet long. 25 remote control points have been installed in the effigy, with which fireworks will be released. Along with this, the effigies of Meghnath and Kumbhkarna have been made 60 feet high. Green crackers have been installed in the three effigies. 15 thousand green crackers have been installed in the effigies of Ravana, four thousand green crackers each in the effigies of Meghnath and Kumbhkarna.
