  Islamabad: Imran Khan, the former prime minister of Pakistan who is in jail, wants to become the chancellor of Oxford University. Syed Zulfi Bukhari, Imran's adviser on international affairs, has given this information. He said that Khan will apply for the post of Chancellor. The post of chancellor has become vacant after the resignation of 80-year-old Lord Patton after 21 years of service. Khan, a former Oxford student, is in Adiala jail on multiple charges of corruption and inciting violence after last year's elections. He debuted for the Pakistan Test cricket team in 1971 and served as Chancellor of the University of Bradford from 2005 to 2014. Syed Zulfi Bukhari has said that Khan is the most qualified person for this post.
