  New Delhi - The Supreme Court dismissed a plea seeking setting up of a 'Renaming Commission' to identify the ancient names of cities and towns. At the same time, the court said, "We cannot remain prisoners of the past. There is much to be done in front of the country today. India is a secular country, this country belongs to all." Also, the court questioned the purpose of the PIL seeking to change the name of the commission and said, “These issues will continue to arise in the country, which will continue to create resentment in the country.
