Two districts of Punjab colder than Shimla, IMD issued alert for next one week

  Now the fury of cold has started in Punjab. For the last three days, many districts are experiencing extreme cold. Pathankot and Jalandhar were the coldest on Wednesday. Where the temperature was 5.4 degrees Celsius. For the first time in the season, the minimum temperature has come down this much. Fog prevailed in these two districts in the morning. Because of this visibility was very low. Along with this, the AQI of many cities has also started to decrease. Now the level of pollution has come down a lot. The minimum temperature in Shimla today was 7.6 degrees Celsius while the maximum temperature was 19.4 degrees. The mercury also remained low in other districts of Punjab. 6.1 degrees in Ropar, 6.8 degrees in Faridkot, 6.9 degrees in Patiala, 7.5 degrees in Jalandhar, 7.1 degrees in Hoshiarpur, 7.3 degrees in Muktsar, 8.3 degrees in Ludhiana, 8.1 degrees in Amritsar, Gurdaspur. A temperature of 8.0 degrees was recorded. According to Weather Center Chandigarh, the cold has increased in the plains due to another snowfall. The weather will be pleasant in the state for the next one week.
