  New York: In August, Salman Rushdie was injured at a literary event in New York, losing one of his eyes and losing the function of one of his hands. After the attack on Salman Rushdie about two months ago, his agent has given information about the extent to which he was injured. Salman Rushdie's agent, Andrew Wiley, gave information about the attack and injury on Rushdie in an interview with Spanish newspaper El Pais. Wylie described Salman Rushdie's wounds as being deep and said that he lost sight in one eye. He said that the writer had three serious wounds on his neck. Along with this, one of his hands has stopped working. In the attack, the tendons of that hand were cut, due to which one hand is not working. Apart from this, Salman Rushdie has wounds in around 15 places on his chest and torso. However, the agent refused to confirm that Salman Rushdie was hospitalized for more than two months. Let us tell you that Salman Rushdie was attacked during a literary event in August, in which he was badly injured. He was taken to the hospital in an injured condition. He sustained serious injuries on his hand, chest and eye during the attack.
