Punjab Government Jobs: Merit is the key in government jobs

  Punjab Government Jobs: While in various states across the country, youth are still forced to stand in long queues and protest on the streets to get government jobs, the picture in Punjab is completely opposite. In other states, the recruitment process for jobs is often mired in controversies due to paper delays, scams and lack of transparency, whereas the Punjab government has shown a new and exemplary positive approach by providing employment to the youth on a large scale.

The ‘Employment Revolution’ launched in Punjab under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has changed the fortunes of the youth of the state. Under Mission Rozgar, government jobs are being provided to the youth in various departments of Punjab purely on the basis of merit and qualification. So far, the government has awarded jobs to more than 68,000 eligible candidates in a transparent manner without any recommendation or bribe. This historic achievement has created a wave of new hope and lasting prosperity in the villages, towns, and cities of the state.
