AAP protests in front of BJP offices

Sanjiv Arora ED remand: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) today launched a front against BJP in Punjab against the arrest of Punjab Cabinet Minister Sanjiv Arora by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case. AAP workers surrounded BJP district level offices across the state. They raised slogans against BJP and accused BJP of misusing ED and CBI before the elections. On the other hand, BJP workers opposed AAP protests at many places in Punjab, which led to a confrontation between the two parties at three places in the state. Police pacified both parties at the above places.

According to information, a large number of AAP workers were protesting outside the BJP office in Balachaur under the leadership of MLA from Banga assembly constituency Dr. Sukhwinder Sukhi. During this, Dr. Sukhi and other AAP leaders entered the BJP office, which created a confrontational atmosphere. Similarly, in Bathinda and Ludhiana, AAP workers staged a protest in front of the BJP office, which was opposed by BJP workers. During this, AAP and BJP workers were seen standing face to face at both the places, which created a confrontational atmosphere. At all three places, the police reached the spot and separated the workers of both the parties and calmed the situation.
