Ghamsan in the capital over Chhath Puja, Chirag shifted to Delhi Cantonment; CM Atishi told BJP Purvanchal opposition

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Atishi visited ITO Chhath Ghat and reviewed the preparations. He said, 'Chhath is the most important festival for the Purvanchali brothers and sisters and we have been celebrating this festival with great fanfare all over Delhi for the last 10 years. 10 years ago, Chhath festival was celebrated by the government only in 60 places in Delhi, but today the Delhi government has prepared more than 1000 magnificent Chhath Ghats, where everyone can worship Chhathi Mayya.

He said that the blocking of Chhath Puja by BJP's DDA in Chirag Delhi shows the anti-Purvanchal mentality of BJP. She does not want the people of Purvanchal to perform Chhath Puja in Delhi.

This time Chhath Puja will be celebrated on November 5-8
Chhath Puja is a festival dedicated to the sun, which is celebrated in many Indian states and even outside the country. This year this festival will be celebrated from 5 to 8 November. Accused of doing bad politics on BJP
The MLA posted on Twitter and wrote, 'Chirag Delhi has become Chhath Ghat cantonment. After the police, there is now a battalion of CRPF. If the public is with the BJP, why is there so much fear?' Earlier, the Delhi Chief Minister had criticized the Bharatiya Janata Party for doing 'bad politics'. They alleged that the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) is preventing Purvanchalis from celebrating Chhath Puja by keeping the doors closed.

DDA is a statutory body under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Government of India. Atishi claimed that the Delhi Development Authority is restricting the entry of people to Chhath Ghat of Greater Kailash. Earlier, Atishi had declared a public holiday for Chhath Puja on November 7.
