Karnataka Election 2023: 70 percent voting in Karnataka

  Karnataka Assembly Election 2023: Voting is going on in 224 seats of the Karnataka Assembly from 7 am. Voting is underway at 58,545 polling stations amid tight security. According to the Election Commission, around 70 per cent voter turnout took place in Karnataka. Earlier, polling in Karnataka was recorded at 37.25 per cent till 1 pm, 20.99 per cent till 11 am and 8.26 per cent till 9 am.

Let us tell you that many stalwarts including CM Basavaraj Bomai, former CM BS Yeddyurappa, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Congress leaders DK Shivakumar, Siddaramaiah have voted in the Karnataka assembly elections. Counting of votes will be held on May 13 in the state.
