Amidst the increasing cases of Corona, the Center warned these states, instructed them to maintain strict vigilance

  New Delhi: Amid rising cases of Covid in the country, the central government on Friday directed eight states including Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra to maintain strict surveillance. The Center has asked these states to be ready to take action to control any emerging spread of corona infection.

The center has warned these states

Union Health Secretary Rajesh Bhushan said on Friday that Kovid-19 has not yet ended in the country. He has appealed to Uttar Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, Haryana and Delhi to be wary of laxity at any level. He said that vigilance can play an important role in fighting the Corona epidemic.

Corona cases increased in the country

Let us tell you that since March, the cases of Kovid-19 have been increasing continuously in the country. Last day on April 20, 10,262 new cases of Corona were registered. Along with this, an increase in the rate of infection has also been observed across the country. At the end of last week, a 5.5 percent positive rate was recorded. Bhushan said this is a cause for concern, as a positive rate of 4.7 per cent was recorded in the previous week till April 19.
