Joshimath Sinking: Joshimath Landslide Case Reached Supreme Court, PIL Filed

  JNN, Haridwar: The Joshimath sinking case has now reached the Supreme Court. Swami Avimukteswarananda Saraswatiji Maharaj has filed a public interest petition in the Supreme Court through his lawyer on Saturday. The above information has been given by Swami Avimukteswarananda Saraswati's media in-charge Dr Shailendra Yogi alias Yogiraj Sarkar.

On Saturday, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami visited Joshimath and also met the affected people. Let us tell you that cracks have appeared in more than 800 buildings due to landslides in Joshimath. Regarding which the state government is on alert mode.

Landslides and cracks in houses continue in Joshimath city and its surrounding areas. Cracks have also appeared in some other houses. Due to this, there is an atmosphere of terror in the entire area. The case of landslides is increasing in Singhdhar Ward of Joshimath. Due to landslides in Joshimath, Jyotiramath and the winter abode of Lord Badrinath have been badly damaged.

So far 109 families have been shifted from the affected area. Out of these, the administration has accommodated 49 families in relief camps. From the security point of view, NDRF has been deployed in the area, so that relief operations can be started immediately in case of emergency.
