PLC chief Capt Amarinder Singh will go to Delhi tomorrow, will become BJP the day after tomorrow, birthday greetings to the Prime Minister

  Chandigarh Former Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh's party Punjab Lok Congress is going to merge with BJP. Captain Amarinder Singh will announce it on September 19. Captain will go to Delhi on Sunday and hold a meeting with BJP leaders in this regard.

Captain Amarinder Singh, who had been the Chief Minister of Punjab twice, left the Congress and formed his own party Punjab Lok Congress. After this, he also contested the 2022 assembly elections with the BJP. PLC could not win a single seat in the elections. Even Captain Amarinder Singh could not save his seat.

After the defeat in the assembly elections, Captain Amarinder Singh kept himself away from active politics. Later he went to England for spinal surgery. Ever since his health improved, talk of PLC joining the BJP has intensified.

This got a boost when Captain Amarinder Singh along with his son Raninder Singh met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Later he also met Union Home Minister Amit Shah. Captain's nationalist image suits the BJP.
