Chief Minister handed over land allotment letter to Tata Steel Group to set up first plant in Ludhiana at a cost of Rs 2600 crore.

  Chandigarh: Keen to give a big boost to industrial development in the state, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann today handed over the land allotment letter to the Tata Group for setting up a scrap based steel plant at Ludhiana with an investment of Rs 2600 crore in the first phase.

The Chief Minister addressed the global CEO of Tata Steel Limited. and Managing Director T.V. "We are firmly committed to making Punjab a leading state in the industrial sector and the Tata Group's investment is the next step in this direction," said Narendran during a meeting with the delegation. Mr. Narendran met the Chief Minister at his office here today.
