  Islamabad: A new case has come to light in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party of Pakistan's former Prime Minister Imran Khan. Imran Khan's party is already grappling with internal strife. Now the party has suffered a setback with the resignation of MLA Junaid Akbar. Sher Afzal Marwat, a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, has demanded the resignation of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Senator Shibli Faraz, accusing him of blocking access to jailed party founder Imran Khan. Leaders say lawyers who are allowed to meet Khan either tell half the story or twist it to their advantage. After this, Junaid Akbar has claimed that, 'Some people can meet the party supremo while some have been denied.' 'PTI Mera Ghar' However, Junaid Akbar reaffirmed his loyalty to the party. He said, 'PTI is my home and I am not part of any group and will not be.' His resignation follows the resignation of Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Umar Ayub, who resigned from the post of PTI General Secretary, signaling further changes in the party's organizational structure. Umar Ayub's resignation rejected The MNA (Member of National Assembly) complained that some leaders were eyeing higher posts instead of paying attention to the release of PTI founder and jailed party leaders. PTI MPs on Saturday "unanimously" passed a resolution not to accept Ayub's resignation and expressed full confidence in his leadership.
