Sources say that the most amazing thing about this strange combination is that the shape and color of the nearly thousand-year-old idol is similar to the idol installed in the huge Divya temple of Ramla in Ayodhya. Along with this idol of Lord Vishnu, an ancient Shivlinga has also been found. Lecturer of ancient history and archeology in Raichur University Dr. Regarding the statue of Lord Vishnu, Padmaja Desai said that it must have been a part of the Garbhagraha of a temple. It might have been put in the river to save it from vandalism in the temple. This statue is slightly damaged. The nose of the statue is slightly damaged.
