  East Delhi: These days the Yamuna river has risen due to rain in the hill states. This is the reason why its water level in Delhi has reached 207.55 meters, breaking the 45-year-old record. The last time the Yamuna water level in Delhi reached a record level of 207.49 meters was in 1978. After this, now in 2023, its record has been broken. Preet Vihar SDM and Flood Nodal Officer Rajinder Kumar said that the administration is fully prepared to deal with the flood. People have been evacuated from Khadar area. Section 144 is applicable in flood affected areas In those areas of Delhi where the water level of Yamuna has increased, Section 144 has been implemented as a precaution. Now the administration has become fully alert about this.
