On the auspicious occasion of Guru Gobind Singh Gurpurab

  Which marks the 354th birth anniversary of the tenth Sikh Guru. Gurmeet singh Dhalwan founder president of Delhi Labana Sabha donated Harmonium and pair of tabla to charity under S. Jarnail singh president of Nihal Vihar Labhana Sabha ( New Delhi, India).
This day is observed in honor and remembrance of the great warrior, poet, philosopher and spiritual leader shri Guru Gobind Singh who was born on 22 December 1666. He was born in Patna and was
the only son of Guru Tegh Bahadur and Mata Gujri. When he was nine years old, his father Guru Tegh Bahadur Gave his last breath as he never agreed to change his religion to islam under the influence of Aurangzeb. Following his father’s demise, Guru Gobind Ji took over as the leader of the Sikhs and continued his fight against the Mughals. It was Guru Gobind Singh who introduced the five ‘K’s that Sikhs abide by. These were Kesh (uncut hair), Kanga (wooden comb), Kara (iron or steel bracelet worn on thewrist), Kirpan (sword) and Kacchera (breeches). He also declared the Holy Scriptures of Guru Granth Sahib as the permanent Guru of Sikhs. In honour of the great warrior, philosopher, spiritual leader Gurmeet Singh Dhalwan made his tribute by donating musical instruments with his brother Tarandeep Singh Dhalwan who brought it from Gullu Tabla maker company at a fairly good price. He made this contribution so that children can learn the hyms and always praise their legends inorder to get rooted with religion.
