Important news! Only raw employees who fulfill these conditions will be permanent, the big decision was taken in the Punjab Cabinet meeting

Chandigarh: A special cadre will be created by the government (Punjab Govt) to appoint raw employees of the state. This decision was taken in a meeting led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Monday. Regarding this policy of the government, 'Jagran' had already told that the government will not bring an act but a policy to appoint the employees and a separate cadre will be created for this.

According to the spokesperson of the Chief Minister's Office, due to shortage of Group C and Group D posts, contract and temporary employees were recruited for these posts. More than ten years have passed for the employees working in some of these positions. The reason of the cabinet was that it would be unfair to remove these employees and recruit new ones in their place.

Keeping in mind the interests of the employees working on contract basis, the state government has made a policy for the welfare of ad hoc, contract, delivage, work charge and temporary employees under Article 162 listed in the second list of the Indian Constitution, with which such Employees do not have to face an environment of mistrust and their jobs are protected. The state government has taken a policy decision to make the services of such willing and able employees who complete the schemes permanent by placing them in a special cadre up to the age of 58 years. More than 9 thousand employees will be benefited by this policy made only for Group C and Group D posts in administrative departments of Punjab.
