Indian engineering is gaining popularity worldwide: IIT Mandi students get packages worth Rs 56 lakh in Japan

  In a major achievement for the Indian engineering world, students from the country’s premier institutions, including the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Mandi, have bagged annual packages of up to Rs 56.27 lakh in Japanese companies. The appointments have been made through AI-based recruitment platform ‘Cognavi’, under which 13 selected candidates have got attractive packages ranging from Rs 42.15 lakh to Rs 56.27 lakh. These students include talents from IIT Mandi, IIT Madras and SRM Institute. Despite the ongoing economic uncertainty globally, the demand for Indian engineers continues to grow. A total of 127 students applied for this recruitment process, out of which 20 candidates were shortlisted through AI-based skill mapping and video assessment and finally 13 were selected. These students will serve in key positions like data engineering, systems engineering and product design in renowned manufacturing and technology companies in Japan. Varun Moudgil, Managing Director of ‘Cognavi’ said that India has immense talent and technologies like AI are playing a key role in connecting this talent with world-class opportunities.
