  Amritsar: The work of Delhi-Amritsar-Katra Expressway is going on in full swing. On this expressway passing through three states, the construction work has started in two states and the process of starting construction in the third state is underway. Time frame for completion of construction work has been fixed. It will be completed by March 2024. After its completion, it will be easy to go from Delhi to Punjab. The Delhi-Katra Expressway is 668 km long, which will pass through the three states of Haryana, Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. According to Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, 597 km of land has been acquired and handed over for construction. The remaining land will also be acquired soon. A total of 384 km of land has been handed over Maximum 422 km of this expressway will pass through Punjab. Construction work has started in Haryana and Punjab, while land in Jammu and Kashmir has been acquired and handed over to the construction agency. Haryana will have 158 km long expressway. The 668 km long expressway will be 158 km in Haryana and 422 km in Punjab. In Haryana, construction work has started in an area of ​​158 km, while in Punjab, construction work has started in an area of ​​107 km and a total of 384 km of land has been handed over.
