In Punjab, a holiday has been announced for these employees on December 9, the education minister has also announced a holiday in the primary schools of this district.

Chandigarh: Punjab School Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains congratulated the teachers, employees and players/children of primary schools who played an important role in conducting the state level primary school games held at Sri Anandpur Sahib from 6 to 8 December. 9th December 2022 has been announced as a holiday for teachers on duty and administrative staff and employees who are on duty during games.

The Education Minister also thanked all the players, teachers, employees and teachers who accompanied the players who played an important role in organizing these games. Mr. Bains said that 5143 sportsmen and 800 teachers also participated from all 23 districts of Punjab. He said that the emerging players of the state have shown great enthusiasm in these state-level games held after a gap of 2 years due to the Corona crisis.
