  Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann today called on BJP state president Sunil Jakhar, Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal, Leader of Opposition Pratap Singh Bajwa and Congress state president Amarinder Singh Raja Waring on November 1 issues of Punjab. has given the challenge of open debate. In a statement, the Chief Minister said that the hands and souls of these leaders are soaked in the blood of Punjab as they have stabbed Punjab and Punjabis in the back. He said that the people of the state will never forgive these leaders for their betrayal of Punjab. Bhagwant Singh Mann said that the leaders of the opposition parties should prepare well for the proposed debate on the occasion of Punjab Day where they will reveal their real face by opening raw letters against the Punjab of these leaders. The Chief Minister said, “The open debate will center around what and how Punjab has been looted so far. In this debate, brothers-nephews, brothers-in-law, brothers-in-law, friends-mulahze, toll plazas, youth-farmers, business-shopkeepers, gurus' words, canals' water will be discussed. He said that the opposition leaders have betrayed Punjab on all these issues for which they will be made accountable to the people of the state. Bhagwant Singh Mann invited these leaders for an open debate before the people of Punjab and the media. The Chief Minister said to these leaders that you have ample time to prepare for this debate and can also bring papers to defend yourself. However, Bhagwant Singh Mann said, "I have to speak the truth in the people's court so I don't need to resort to any paper and I will participate in the debate without any paper." He said that the opposition leaders should do whatever they want because in the end they will expose their crimes during the debate on November 1.
