  New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday congratulated the countrymen on Eid-ul-Adha/Bakrid. May this day bring happiness and prosperity to all of you, he said. The Prime Minister congratulated the leaders of Kuwait Along with this, PM Modi also congratulated the leaders and people of Kuwait on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha. Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf, Crown Prince of Kuwait Sheikh Mishal, Prime Minister of Kuwait Sheikh Ahmed Nawaf and the citizens of Kuwait. The Indian Embassy in Kuwait said that the Prime Minister extended greetings on the holy festival of Eid-ul-Adha. The PM said this holy festival is celebrated by millions of Muslims in India, the embassy said. It reminds us of the values of sacrifice, compassion and brotherhood, which are essential to building a peaceful and inclusive world that we all aspire to. Prime Minister Modi congratulated Sheikh Hasina Along with this, PM Modi congratulated the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Sheikh Hasina on the occasion of the holy festival of Eid-ul-Azha on Wednesday. He expressed confidence that this holy festival will bring the people of India and Bangladesh even closer. Indian High Commission in Bangladesh tweeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended warm greetings to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the people of Bangladesh on the occasion of the holy festival of Eid-ul-Azha. In his message, the Prime Minister expressed confidence that this holy festival will bring the people of India and Bangladesh even closer. It may be mentioned that Eid-ul-Azha is celebrated as a festival of sacrifice. This day holds significant religious and cultural significance for Muslims around the world. It falls on the 10th day of Dhul-Hijjah, the last month of the Islamic calendar.
