Kartarpur Sahib Corridor : Pakistan government to send proposal to India with set of rules and regulations

  The Pakistan government has planned to send a proposal to India government with a set of rules and regulations for the pilgrims visiting Kartarpur Sahib corridor.The Government of Pakistan has issued a number of rules and regulations which includes, the pilgrims must constitute a group of 15 people; pilgrims must carry a valid Indian passport and individual security clearance issued by the Government of India ; the Government of India shall share the details of the pilgrims with the Government of Pakistan ; the permit will be issued for the purpose of visiting Kartarpur Sahib corridor.Meanwhile, according to the official letter the number of permits granted may not be more than 500 pilgrims in a day.The Vice-President, M Venkaiah Naidu and Punjab Chief Minister, Captain Amarinder Singh laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Dera Baba Nanak-Karatarpur Sahib road corridor on November 26. The Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Food Processing, Harsimrat Kaur Badal also accompanied them during the foundation ceremony.
