President Trump calls Somali immigrants 'trash'

  US President Donald Trump has taken a tough stance against Somali immigrants. He called Somali immigrants ‘trash’ four times in seven seconds. In fact, Trump’s attacks on immigrants have been increasing since he said during his election campaign a decade ago that Mexico was sending ‘rapists’ across the border to the US. His statement is being compared to German dictator Adolf Hitler, who used foul language against 34 African countries. During a meeting of cabinet ministers, Trump said that he does not want Somalis in the US and that they should be sent back to where they came from. Vice President J.D. Vance also supported him. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth called Trump’s statement very good. Minnesota Democratic Governor Tim Walz condemned Trump’s statement and called it vulgar. Many intellectuals have also criticized Trump's statement.
